He doesnt make it clear he was a pimp, his butt buddy in the background interjected and said so. Infact when elie said to Adonis, you used to be a pimp, he nodded assuredly and said yea. I think the truth is in the middle. He was involved in a gang which used to have pimps and aided and abetted these gangs and activities but wasnt directly a pimp himself.

Ain't saying Adonis should be punished forever, but you are aware he used to punch girls out for amusement - that's a bit beyond the call of duty I'd say (even if he'd ever claimed to have been forced into a gang). OK, I get that he's turned his life around, but I for one ain't going to be the guy rooting for him, even if I acknowledge and respect his achievements in the ring.
