    decent post.

and would have to say disagree with op because that fight showed groves can cope under the most intense pressure and execute a gampelan to perfection.Must say i dont understand groves trying to wind up froch as froch will only ever fight one way and its almost better to have him feeling flat for the fight as he said he felt against mack than angry.

while I think froch is more than likely to win the fight I Think 7/2 groves is a ridiculous price condiering he is the most versatile of the fighters and the younger up and coming man.And il certainly be betting groves for that reason.

Lets look at what Groves has done since hes beaten Degale

Paul Smith- got caught with a big shot at the end of the first then koed him in the 2nd

Francesco Sierra- Decent Win very brutal knockout but got cut

Glen Johnson- Easy win but Johnson was shot to ****

    Them two bums- Means Nothing

Gonzales- Very Nice knockout and looked big and strong but how good is he?

Not sure if thats enough to beat Froch but think it will be alot more competitve than Carls suggesting

We all like to give ourselves axcuses for the mistakes we made.

What may or may not have happened before the fight means very little.

Douglas won - no revisionist history there.

De Gale is uncomfortable on the front foot. He was expecting Groves to go for him, he still won in many peoples eyes. DeGale has done nothing spectacular since. Froch is very happy on the front foot, and i cant see past him pasting Groves. Groves is not slick when the pressure is on him, look at Anderson or the last few rounds against DeGale.
