Check it out from the usual sources.

This could either be a piece of genius or a complete car wreck on Top Ranks part. Salido will not lay down for anybody.

IF Lomachenko wins this fight, it will be one of the most impressive wins of all time. Not as big a fan of the light weight classes, but Lomachenko has me intrigued. lets see how he does here, he has nothing to lose and everything to gain in this one. if he loses he was just rushed and will go back to the drawing board, but if he wins.... it will be one of the greatest wins of all time easily. winning a world title in only his second fight? as far as I know he'd be the first to do something like that.

Lomachenko has balls and confidence for sure, he's willing to take the path of most resistance to achieve glory.

There are few fighters like him nowadays. GGG is another one

This is pure bs. Real boxing fans should be furious. Vasyl has 1 pro fight against a weak opponent. Maybe he will be a great fighter but if you can walk into a title shot right away... it makes the sport meaningless. Even Gary T-rex Russell deserves a shot before Vasyl... and it would still be pathetic.

Lomochenko is 100 percent sure he has the ability to beat anyone even already,he only lost once in his amateur and he felt he got robbed there so he really doesnt have any concept of losing or realisation that he could lose. His confidence is remarkable and admirable

Wait a minute, so you're kinda saying that if I ain't furious I ain't a real boxing fan?

FWIW I think it's a pretty daft move by Vasyl, but I ain't following how it makes the sport meaningless, or why I should be cross about it.

Hard to say just how good Vasyl could be, but as the amateur with arguably the best record in history - if he can get the fight, then why not? It could be a mismatch, but certainly we've all seen plenty fights that we know are blatant mismatches before they even happen, at least in this case there's the intrigue of just not knowing how good Loma is.

Should we have been angry if Teofilo Stevenson had fought Ali?
