We all know that the PR vs MX boxing war is as big if not bigger than any other rivality in the world of sports. Ill say that its like or larger than some of the Latinamerican or European soccer rivalities.

Will the likely event of a Miguel Cotto vs Saul Alvarez be a bigger fight than lets say Tito Trinidad vs Fredando Vargas? or Wilfredo Gomez vs Salvador Sanchez?

I think that it will be!!!!! Heck yeah, I'm 150% ready for this war!!!

    War Cotto!!!!

Waaaaaaay bigger than Trinidad Vs. Vargas.
(Trinidad Vs. De La Hoya was the bigger one for Felix)

But defo not on Sanchez Vs. Gomez level.
It will make a shitload of money tho :deal

That match will/would outsell Floyd's next fight.

outsell floyds next fight with ease?

    good grief

floyd did over 1mm buys on both ortiz and guerrero

cotto did 400k with a prime mosley

so canelo alvarez red hair is worth over 600k buys?

please, take the pink coc-k out of your mouth

i would be impressed if canelo/cotto did the 525k buys that tito did with vargas or the 475 he did with hopkins

It likely do 750K give or take 100k. It will do better than Cotto vs Cheater.

Canelo lost a lot of fans, I'm predicting, with that **** performance he gave against Floyd. The whole, "I'm Canelo, and I was born ready to box Floyd," yeah, you ****ing ******. Guy did worse than Robert Guerrero.

i thought you said canelo/cotto would beat floyds ppv sales with ease?

    floyd does 1mm a fight(ortiz,guerrero,cotto,canelo)

how is 750k more than 1 million?

cotto is a 400-500k ppv guy with mosley and margo

canelo, especially with his gutless perfomance against floyd(he wouldve gained much more respect from the mexican people if he wouldve went balls out and gotten kod or suffered damage like the real mexican chavez jr), will be lucky to get another 100k extra

i would be impressed if the fight did 525k

i was in a packed bar here in mexico(no gringos) and somewhere around the eighth round people started texting, talking on their phones, smoking on the patio, couples started kissing and by and large a considerable percentage of people were paying no attention to the fight.

this did not happen with sergio/chavez(even though the disparity in skillset was about equal to floyd/canelo) as you got the sense that julio was wiling to accept the punishment to deliver whatever he could.

canelo...he was just gutless and pathetic

Vargas is not considered a mexican cuz he was born in USA and has never lived in mexico besides nobody in mexico supports him.
Canelo is nothing but a hypejob, every mexican knows it, he is greatly supported by mexicans in USA but in mexico is not the same.
The last one is the good one.... BTW in mexican and live in mexico.

I forgot to mention that he lost a lot of fans cuz meny mexicans realized of what we were saying all of the time, he is nothing but a hypejob manufactured by Televisa just like our new president Enrique Peña Nieto.... both of them are televisa products
