Will people still hate on Khan like they hate on Calzaghe when he Lacy's Mayweather?

The networks are the only ones who hyped up Lacy tbh. . . I personally dont know of anyone who though Lacy was going to win that fight.

however, it dont devoid the fact that Calslappy was still a protected fighter who's only claim to fame is beating a overhyped Lacy, old ass Jones, and barely escaping a loss against Hopkins.

WOAH WOAH WOAH! The comparison between the two match-ups holds no water.
Firstly, Calzaghe was undefeated and so was Lacy, only Mayweather holds that distinction.

Secondly, they were saying Calzaghe was protected, neither Kahn nor Mayweather (somewhat disputable) are protected fighters.

Lastly (although I could go on), Lacy was hyped at the time, Mayweather has been a P4P fighter for years, with no one contending otherwise.

Because the match-ups are different, everyone will give Kahn credit if he beats Floyd; unlike many who do not give Joe credit for the Lacy win.

By the way, thanks for posting the video, I hadn't seen that fight in awhile. Joe took Lacy's heart away in that first round, standing in the pocket flurrying at the end of the round, catching Jeff with those slapping right hooks. Jeff was a guy kinda like Tyson that needed you to be a little afraid of him to be effective, Joe showed he didn't give a ****.

PS Joe also exposed Lacy's technical flaw. Lacy would lay on his right side a bit and leave his left hand a little low, and it always allowed for a right hand to get in (southpaw or orthodox). Every fight after Calzaghe, Lacy is always a sucker for right hands. In one fight he had on ESPN, he kept his beard unshaved on his left cheek, most likely to soften the blow from the right hands he could never adapt and escape from.

Besides, your thread is ridiculous. Calzaghe was never beaten unlike Khan and Mayweather has almost two decades at the top unlike Lacy. Did I mention obvious troll is obvious...
