tyson challenged wilder on twitter to replace david haye in february. wilder seems like he'd be up for the idea. http://www.*****.net/news/2013/11/1...ury-fight-await-firm-offer-from-hennessy.html any thoughts?
Wilder wants no part of Fury. Look for Wilder to face Michael Sprott instead. I'd put money on Sprott been Windmiller's next opponent.
never happen! at least haye actually pretend he wants to fight him by signing up....Wilder wont even do that!
Fury going on Twitter to say he wants to make the fight, and Wilder going on Twitter to accept it, is one thing. The question that will decide whether this fight gets made or not is money -- will Fury's promoter offer Wilder what Haye was offered, a number close to that, or a small fraction of it? There will also be the matter of GBP being paid because they have Wilder's promotional rights -- and the network situation in the U.S. has to be sorted out, because GBP has a deal with Showtime and they won't want a fight like this to be shown on HBO in the U.S. If the money is there, the fight will be made.
Good Post bro :good:good People will say Wilder will duck him, or this and that but all u stated are actual things that have to get worked out. Wilder will figure out how much haye was offered. He probably wont get offered as much but hes gonna want it to be at least close.
haye and fury were supposedly looking at £5 million GBP each...the sort of money only PPV can generate over here. Seeing as Wilder is completely unknown in the uk there's not a snowballs chance in hell of it being a PPV fight hence there wont be even 10% of that kind of cash to split
So Haye was responsible for 90 percent of the expected generated revenue? He should have gotten a better purse split.
