“He picked the wrong opponent. I’m not a tune-up fight, I’m young, I’m ready and I want that success,” Rios said.

    LOL.

    Nobody picked ****

Bob Arum made the fight for a quick buck and to test the Chinese market...

Rios is going to get beat up by an Elite fighter who is going to be shocked at Rios's lack o f technical ability at long/mid range.

Rios's face is there to be hit all night. Once he tastes Pac's left.. he will be shocked and gets his face busted up.

This is one of the weaker PPV cards i have seen. I will be streaming it out of curiousity to see how good Pac looks but honestly he SHOULD outbox Rios and won't likely lose more than 2 rounds.
After this we will hear how Pac is "back" and build hype for another mega fight despite him beating a mediocre puncher whose power won't carry up to 147

    Same move every time.

Right hook , roll under. Blah Blah Blah.

Manny KO in about 8 onesided rounds.

Rios probably has a better shot at beating Floyd. If his stationary cement head could break both of Floyds fists, Rios may even be able to win a round.
Rios- Ortiz would be a good fight. Their history would help sell the fight too.

God damn man if you tie both of Floyds hands he would still win all rounds against Rios, Rios could land **** on Abrli and you say he can win a round vs Floyd:rofl

Rios has two things going for him that might win him the fight. His iron chin and big uppercuts.

Wow some of you guys are delusional. Margarito hurt Manny to the body numerous times. Manny said that he thought about quitting a couple of times because the body shots really hurt. Manny has been down many times and he has been knocked out 3 times. So he is not unbeatable or unable to be hurt. I am a big Pacquiao fan and he is a phenomena no doubt but he can be beaten. Whether Rios is the man to do it who knows but Rios has a good chance because of his power, size and style. People talk about Rios vs Abril and try to say that that fight has any bearing on how Rios vs Pacquiao will go. It doesn't and won't. Pacquiao will not run and clinch and Rios will not be terribly weight drained.

I like Rios, but Pacman is going to really **** him up. Rios is tough, so I doubt he goes out in the first few rounds, but he will be put on his ass a couple of times in the fight and I look for a corner stoppage around the 8th round.

That's the thing. I actually believe that Rios has more technical ability(especially footwork) than he's given credit for. The problem is that Pacquiao is simply on another level when it comes to dictating the pace and imposing his style on his opponent.
Manny will probably carry Rios(no offense to Brandon) for 2-3 rounds and let Brandon touch him up a bit so the fans get some excitement. After that, Pac will be Pac...darting in, let a combination go, dart out, move side to side, pump the jab, dart in again, let another combination go, rinse and repeat...
