They always know when to fight someone. Look at this

    On Oscar's catchweight against Manny.

HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. (November 18, 2008) – During his international media conference call yesterday, OSCAR DE LA HOYA stated that he would be “extremely disappointed” if his upcoming showdown with MANNY PACQUIAO did not end in a knockout. “It would be a total disaster. Pacquiao’s trainer, World-Famous Freddie Roach, empathized with The Golden Boy.

“Tell Oscar not to worry, the fight WILL end in a knockout. On December 6, Oscar’s going to think he’s back in the 1930’s when Manny airmails him into The Great Depression,” responded Roach. “I can see when the paperback version of Oscar’s autobiography comes out. It will begin by paraphrasing the opening line of Moby Dick. Only instead of starting with ‘Call me Ishmael,' it will be 'Call me Ishtar,’ one of the biggest box office flops in motion picture history. Mark my words he will flop too. Oscar can’t pull the trigger anymore. Losing all that weight doesn’t impress me. Twiggy is going to find out that looking the part is not equivalent to acting the part, a lesson Muhammad Ali learned when he fought Larry Holmes."

Roach Has a Receipe for Cooking Oscar's Golden Goose!

With less than three weeks to go until "D-Day" -- Manny Pacquiao's ring war with Oscar De La Hoya -- Pacquiao's gym general, World-Famous Freddie Roach, has cried fowl! "I’m glad to hear that Oscar’s diet has made him skinny," said Roach, from his Hollywood-based Wild Card Boxing Club. "The photos of him at his media day have him looking like boxing’s version of Twiggy! If Oscar thinks he has it tough skipping Thanksgiving to train for this fight, wait until Manny cooks his golden goose on December 6. Manny's recipe for success will have Oscar plucked and roasted within nine rounds.”

On Shane Mosley before Floyd beats him.

"Shane came to the gym twice to ask me to let him fight Manny," Roach says. "I told him no both times, and both times for the same two reasons: First, there isn't enough money there, and second, you're too good a fighter."

    After Floyd beats him.

I’m confident Manny will become the first person to knockout Mosley,” Roach said during the open media day workout earlier this week, according to the Asian Journal.“It’ll be icing on the cake for Manny and prove that he’s truly the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

These guys wait for fighters to look vulnerable and then they pounce. Cherry Picking at its finest :lol::lol:

The hate for Pacquiao is ridiculous. Some boxing fans are fickle as ****. I swear, most are no better than female teenage pop music fans.

DLH was a big favorite when this fight was signed, and still a solid one on fight night. Funny how Freddie the Joke Coach could see so far ahead what was not obvious to DLH, Schaefer, Dundee, Nacho and those guys. Now we know Oscar is an idiot, but Schaefer is supposedly a genius. Guess not, ******s running GBP, so no wonder they'd burn bridges with America's #1 boxing network

Oh well, maybe it worked out for the best. DLH is a sicko and glutton for punishment. He's gonna enjoy that epic humiliation for years to come.

Leave Manny alone. He's doing what he's supposed to. I have no problem with him thinking he can beat Floyd -- he should think that. I have no problem with him calling Floyd a coward -- if he thinks that gets him closer to the fight and payday he wants then he should do it.

The problem isn't Manny its the *******s. They don't understand that every FIGHTER takes the fight that brings the lowest risk and highest reward. It's good business sense, period. Fighters will also take High Risk/High Reward Fights and Low Risk/Low Reward Fights but they will not go into a High Risk/Low Reward fight unless there is nothing else or they have no leverage.

It's the *******s that too dumb to understand the brilliant matchmaking that Arum/Manny/Roach were doing between the De La Hoya and Mosely fights. Except for Clottey they were all Low Risk/High Reward fights.

It's the *******s that keep saying "what about my health," when the context of that quote is "why should I step into the ring against a fighter on steroids or other PEDs?"

It's the *******s who take the side of a fighter who refused drug testing. Who, in any sport, other than Manny Pacquiao refused drug testing and gets praised for it? Who, in any sport, other than Mayweather boycotts a match because it doesn't have decent testing and gets called a coward for it? The spin on this is so good that I had a Pac fan tell me that it was Mayweather who didn't want to test.

It's the *******s who say Mayweather is afraid to fight High risk/Low Reward fights like GGG. Mayweather is not afraid of GGG and would beat him at 154. If I were Mayweather I would want $75M to fight GGG. He is twice as dangerous as Canelo so Mayweather should get about twice the purse. I would love to see that fight, but it won't happen because GGG can't draw even close to Canelo numbers. And if you think Mayweather should take a $30-$40M payday to fight GGG when he can get more than that fighting Amir Kahn you're an idiot. Don't be stupid, if you cleaned windows would you choose to clean the entire Sears tower or a one storey building with 10 windows for the same pay? That's the same analysis both Manny and Floyd are doing. *******s have no fricking sense of reality.
