I'd like it to be Donaire but unlikely. :-(

Um......... Willy Pep, Sandy Sadler definitely far greater than Chris John.

edited because upon reviewing John's record he did a pretty damn good job for himself. Whereas I may have rushed to judge his career, he still isn't the best FW of all time.

Pep & Saddler are greats, possibly better than Chris John in the overall ATG status. However, Chris John is higher than them in Featherweight, mainly cause he invested his whole career in one division, thus guaranteeing his spot as the ATG Featherweight (if he can beat Pedroza record & add a win vs Donaire to cement his legacy)

Its very tempting to jump weights and its easy to pretend he doesn't exist and jump over him, as many boxers hoping classes did. If he was easy he would have been KTFO long ago, but weight hoppers always look for the easiest belt

The big fight will happen, but it could be someone off this list. Depending on how long he sticks around

:good I remember a misinformed poster claimed Chris John fought all his life in Indonesia. They didn't even bother looking at the record :patsch

The reality is that none of these guys is going out of their way to make the fight. In the same fashion fighters seek the Mayweather payday.

Its very easy to challenge Chris John call him out, no one does, because they remember the boxing lesson Prime JMM recieved and they rather fight easy fights :deal

I don't blame you as the marketing is still centered on the USA, last thing networks want is a decade domination of all their projects.

In Indonesia Christian John is the equivalent of Joe Louis, just an unblemished record. Just like Joe Louis the majority (In Indonesia muslims) loves him genuinely although he is a minority fighter, Joe Louis was the first sincerely adored African American amongst European Americans. The decade of dominane will never be forgotten by the Quarter Billion fans he has in that region & the Billions who heard of him.

Just trying to enlighten you about the other part of the world. Chris John is polite, classy & doesn't even womanize...although Millions of attractive beaties throw themselves at him, whereever he goes. ATG Chris John is all class, history will acknowledge him :good

Chris John the biggest cherry picker in boxing today, a champion for how long yet still not fighting any of the big names, he only fights at home and fights bums, ATG not in my eyes only has one good name on his record

Look at his record, before you claim whenever left home!

Joe Louis lost to the only two HOF Natural heavyweights he faced in their prime age/best weight

Chris John dominated an ATG in his prime weightless/Age
