People who think Froch has one punch KO power and as soon as he lands on Groves chin the fight is over are delusional! last time i checked Froch has only had 2 stoppages in his last 8 fights!!! and one was against Mack who had already been stopped 4 times before he fought Froch! Last time i checked Groves has never been KO'd and his chin certainly isnt glass! Groves by UD! easy money!
He did beat Direll and prime Kessler was in the top 20 p4p which would certainly make him elite. Even if he was slightly past it in the first Froch we are still talking a fighter at the very top of his division - that's what it takes to beat Froch and Groves isn't up there, imo.
Fair enough if people pIck Groves to win - doesn't mean anyone is lying to themselves. I can see how he might trouble Froch with movement etc but he's never been elusive no matter how much he's moved around and Froch will find him. Grove hasn't been anywhere near the level of Froch and I think there will be a gulf in class and experience that will show on fight-night. Looking forward to it massively!!!
Froch can be outboxed, as shown by Direll, Kessler and Taylor. That's what people are banking on and at 10/1 odds on Groves doing that, worth it.
