Yes. Agreed on all accounts (especially the prospect of seeing him back then against Vanda who I had seen fight a few times). I'm just sad Russ Anber is not an influence on him anymore... though when Russ Anber says you're a once in a generation gifted puncher, you shouldn't fukk around and should listen to him start to finish. I was really disappointed with the whole ordeal.

    Would love this fight.

Would favor Stevens by stoppage.... but who knows.

    What a fun fight though.

That's the thing HE WON'T !!! Lemieux will make a mistake way before Stephens will and when that happens Lemieux through .. True anyone getting caught with those shots would be through, but so far he's only landed those shots on ham and eggers and never was fighters. Lemieux lost back to back and they have been feeding him a steady diet of stiffs ever since..

So let me be clear "Steven's would be a step up for Lemieux, and each time Lemieux has stepped up he has lost.

It is cyclically proven, that after Curtis Stevens loses a fight he will win his next four fights and then lose the fifth one. If David Lemieux fights Stevens before his fifth fight after losing to Golovkin, Lemiuex will lose. If Lemieux fights Stevens in Steven's fifth fight after losing to Golovkin he will win. So why on earth would Lemieux fight Stevens prior to the fifth fight?

    Ridiculous...

Actually, give them workrate & stamina and we're looking at a Ward-Gatti, Rocky movie type fight. :D

Whenever 2 big punching, aggressive fighters go at it, my thought is always the same: This is going to points.

Good point. I went with Stevens KO myself but it's never a shock to see two huge punchers go the distance. Both fighters would be cautious.

I was surprised to see the poll this close, but then I saw the date of the original thread :yep

I think Lemieux is the clear favorite now, but it will be a slugfest and anything can happen.
