I thought Carl nicked it with the jab,Pascal landed some great punches too.

Would love to see a rematch of that one, very fan friendly fight.

Scorecards for this fight were outrageous.

Score cards were out of whack but the right man won it,imo.

I would have given it to Froch by 1 round thats how close it was.

If that fight was in Canada Pascal would have got the nod.

Yeah I think Carl just nicked that one by a round or two. Watching it back though the pace they both kept was out of this world. The same as the Kessler fights. The rematch which for me was very close was a ******* as well.

I do not buy all of this talk about Froch being past it, he didn't go pro until he was 25 and he looks as good as ever to me. He keeps himself well.

I think if Groves decides to fight that type of fight he won't last the pace, Bute couldn't. He will have to smother Froch's work like Ward and Direll di to make it close.

Taylor gave a good example of how to outbox Froch as well but that fight shows just how dangerous Froch can be.

    100% agree

Froch averages 1000 punches every time he goes twelve rounds,I dont think Groves will have ever experienced anything like it.I mean he's jumping from fighting the likes of Baker Barakat and Paul Smith straight into this.I think Groves has what it takes to be a world champion somewhere down the line but this fight against Froch is too much too soon.

How come a blown up middleweight put him down? Dont make sense does it. And he was buzzed by a andre Ward left hook as well

You'll find out how good he is in a few hours when hes being pummelled around the ring by Carl Froch.

A split decision over James Degale is the highlight of Georges career so far a fight myself and a lot of people thought he lost.Since then he has been fighting guys like Baker Barakat and Balmaceda.
Bute had some pretty decent wins on his record Bika,Miranda,Adrade,Magee and Mendy, but it wasnt so much the names it was the manner in which he beat them.
Groves has looked nowhere near as impressive as Bute was leading up to fighting Froch. You have obviously been brainwashed by Sky and Matchroom into thinking this going to be competitive.

    Newsflash its NOT.

Groves is being seriously underrated by many people. And whenever I see footage from Froch fights it just underlines how easy he is to hit. He's one tough sod but he ships too much and one of these days it'll catch up with him. Whether Groves is tough and strong enough for the job is another matter.

Pascal won 5 rounds on my card, it was a great fight. the Groves fight tonight will be one for the highlight reel just like most Taylor,Bute and Mack were. Highlight reel KO coming tonight. War Froch!!!.

The thing with Froch is guys have to take a few of his punches to get their own off,Mikkel Kessler said he worked tirelessly on trying to get around Froch's jab for the second fight and for some reason he just could not get out of the way of it.Froch has been described by his opponents as being much better than he looks on on tape, you can watch him fight and think theres a million ways to beat him but when your stood in front of him its a completely different story.

People get this idea about Froch because of what ward says about Froch whenever he is asked about Froch. problem is everyone is average compared to ward in that division. Everyone else is slow and easy to hit for Ward etc..

You see what Pascal landed on Carl that night and got no reaction, Groves won't do more. Taylor outboxed him, some people say he gassed, but Carl made him gas, Hopkins didn't. Carl is pretty basic, but it works. If George is confident because of the sparring I think he's due a shock, Carls strengths won't show in sparring they will show in a gruelling tiring fight.
