Bad stoppage, but Groves would have been stopped

    Brilliant performance by Groves. Battered Froch and had a perfect fight.

    But Froch is an absolute warrior. Can;t believe he came through so many humongous clean shots and was on his way to finishing Groves.

    Groves would've been stopped properly I believe, probably on his feet with a few more shots either right away or a bit later on. Both were derived.

    Maybe a fair result because Groves didn't deserve to lose properly after his great performance.

    Not a fair finish, but I think Froch was gonna stop him properly.

    No chance,he would have got it together between rounds he isnt stupid,Fought the perfect fight and would have been robbed on the scorecards if it went the distance,disgusting

    For all you know groves coulda took a knee and regrouped and right hooked froch again

    You let bute flop against the ropes and let him fight the next round, but don't even let Groves recover? Utter travesty!

    I agree. Fight was stopped prematurely but imo Froch would have stopped him before the end, Groves was tired but he definitely deserved the chance to prove it.

    I think Groves would have survived the rd and made it to end of fight.

    He was in a bit of trouble in the 9th rd but nothing major.

    This is boxing not tiddlywinks, i know boxing is a dangerous sport and boxers should be protected from themselves sometimes but stopping a fight at that stage was shockingly bad.

    That remains to be seen,it was a poor stoppage.

    Groves and the fans were robbed of a proper ending.

    Groves was swinging when the ref stopped it, absolute joke

    As Haye said...the ref got groves in a headlock as well which allowed Carl to get another dig in

    I wish. Froch would fight and never talk, cause I am a fan of his

    He has always talked so rubbish but tonight was too much........no class
