    Shipped a whole load of punishment but wouldn't wilt, came back and won it by stoppage, and yes he would have stopped Groves, ref or not. Respect the champ.

    Champ-like behaviour to come back when he seemed down-and-out.

    Chump-like behaviour to spend half the fight down and out after spending months saying his opponent was a nobody.

    Decent warrior, poor champ.

    You have to hand it to Froch. So many fighters are called warriors, but he really is a true warrior.
    He was caught flush with hard shots all evening but never gave in. Massive heart and a great chin.
    Carl Froch is Rocky Marciano reincarnated.

    Froch, truly overrated more like. He was made to look like an absolute mug in the ring by Groves and like the **** he is outside the ring all by himself.

    His days are numbered.

    Great showing by Groves, he made a lot of fans tonight.

    Carl has a chin on him, this is nothing new.

    What amazed me was his lights were turned out, for a second. Groves is a very serious puncher.

    He came back well after being humiliated in the first seven rounds. He was getting bullied in the first half of the fight and didn't have the look of a warrior then, but he eventually came through.

    Have to say Groves never got the chance to show that he's a warrior because as soon as he got hurt the ref jumped in. :-(

    He is a warrior who has fought pretty much everyone there is to fight in his division and came back from a beating to get into it and get the extremely lucky stoppage. Gotta respect his heart and determination.

    He's also a massive bell-end for trying to legitimize that stoppage in his post-fight interview. Dont gotta respect his mouth and his ego.
