From now on, Froch should stop calling himself better than Calzaghe. He's always been delusional about his own skills (and a bit overrated by a lot of boxing fans and journalists to be honest) but was exposed big time tonight.

Why'd you write Froch by B.S stoppage when Slappy had some of the most hilarious B.S stoppages of all time.

They're not in the same league. Froch would hardly land anything significant, plus Calzaghe has a very good chin himself. Imo Calzaghe would make him look very bad.

Supposedly elite fighters don't get schooled for 8 round stretches. This is the second time this has happened.

Calzaghe wouldn't have stopped Froch, but with his chin, stamina and adaptability he would be unlikely to fall apart against a late Froch surge.

Let's be honest here: neither one would have any chance of winning a stoppage.

Calzaghe would win wide on points though.

However for the record, I think Froch does better than Ward against Joe (style's make fights) :good

He would have made a 5 point slap combo and the referee would have jumped in to save Froch as if his life was in danger :yep

Said this for years. Speed difference is way too much.

This is my first Calzaghe tread. I gotta say I'm quite proud even though I'm not even from the UK.

Tonights fight showed what speed can do. Most people would have Calzaghe speed/workrate > Groves. iIt would have been 12 rounds of target practice for slick joe.

i love these threads. a guy has a bad fight and then calzaghe would have beat him, no problem. :) in his wbo run, joe would have never fought the likes of froch or groves. everyone need to understand this. yes, i think joe could beat both these fighters but he didn't have to will to step up vs real competition like they do.

Bull****. He fought a better version of Kessler than the one that beat Froch.
