Boystov IS the Russian version of Deontay Wilder! He hasn't beaten a live body at all, not one name on his resume (one WIN) was a real good win. His fight against Leapai was a step up and he got brutally beaten. I've seen articles describe him as the russian Wilder and I couldn't agree more. Thank god this hype job got exposed and his chances of a title shot are LOOONG gone! :good

There was always gonna be question whether he still had the hunger after all the promotional nightmares with Universum. (They virtually black-balled him for a coupla years and had his manager hospitalised with iron bars). When I saw the shape he was in for the Nesterenko fight it was obvious he was no longer taking it seriously, but I hoped signing with Sauerland might have re-ignited his interest. The guy that was in the ring last night was a badly outta shape apathetic version of a kid who had a lot of potential. It's unlikely at this point he'll get it back, but I'd be willing to give him another chance at it if he put in the gym and road work.
He never had any Potential. He is the white Wilder face the facts. There is a reason Boystov only fought bums and now we know why.
