    Not really.

    Lewis won fairly.

The issue with Froch/Groves is that the fight was stopped prematurely due to terrible decision making by the ref. If you watch the 1st round knock down Froch, the second after the punch lands, looks out as he is falling to the canvas. He gets back up and staggers to the ropes.

When the ref calls off the fight, Groves has taken a few decent shots but, he is moving forward into Froch's body and he brings his hands up. Froch looks spent and the ref just calls it off.

Also you can tell the ref's view of Groves face was obscured... he wasn't looking into his eyes and seeing that no one was home...

This was a classic fight ruined by a slightly early stoppage. It wasn't fair to Groves. Rematch is needed.

    :huh

Someone who can't see the obvious...

Froch has the win. Undeniable fact. The real winner was George though. He walked into boo's but would have been carried out on shoulders to cheers. He clearly won the crowd, He won the hearts and the minds.

History will see this as the time George announced his pressence at this level. He is a Champ in waiting in the eyes of the fans. :happy

He's an arrogant ***** who thinks its blasphemous to suggest an opponent has a chance against him.

People are desperate to see someone knock carl the warrior out cold and perhaps make him a little more humble.

Carl Froch is an iron chinned G. A real warrior who represents everything that is great about the sport of boxing.

Ward is the only man to beat him. Kessler 1 doesn't count apparently. He's an international superstar. Any fighter who doesn't engage him is a ***** yet the warrior himself chose to box the middleweight Arthur Abraham instead of going toe to toe. Everybody has to show him the utmost respect while he shows a complete lack of respect for even those who beat him....

    Like I said, he's a delusional ****.

The Froch hate is immense. It's as if Froch isn't allowed to believe in his ability. He should just sit there and admit every dick & harry has a chance to KO him. Pathetic.

    - The ref, not Froch, stopped the fight.
    - Froch landed several unanswered heavy punches.
    - When Groves dropped Froch, Froch weathered the storm. NO stoppage necessary at all!
    - Froch's post fight words were absolutely fine. Once again, it's as if everyone wanted Froch to disregard the unanswered power punches he landed, yet wax lyrical about Groves flooring him in round 1
    - And there's no surprise that not many people mentioned the fact that Froch was more than willing to give a rematch to Groves.

Look, the ref stopped the fight early, imo. However, I strongly believe that Groves wouldn't have made it to round 12

Froch is great and no one is hating on him. We hate the ref and whoever paid him.

Froch has since said he was level after 4-5 rounds and that Groves was unconscious on his feet !

I like Froch the fighter but he talks so much fraff

More so than Groves before and after the fight

Rematch the fight, most of frochs big shots were clubbing blows hitting groves round the side of the head and body but mostly blocked by groves gloves and elbows......knocking him off balance more than they were buzzing him

    Poor stoppage

Not frochs fault but he speaks ****

Froch just isn't that likable. He's contradictory, hypocritical, arrogant and delusional. Not to mention over-rated and a bit of a dirty fighter. Having said all that, I don't actually hate him. I find him entertaining both inside and outside the ring.

    Frochowski has zero skill
    No defense
    Couldn't see the punches coming

Got lucky due to groves inexperience

That wouldn't be an issue but his ass holery after the fight in the interviews destroys any credibility he once had

Hs legacy is being wards *****

Like you wouldn't expect it to happen lol. Once I saw Froch is being continuously tagged, I started to expect something dirty will happen, and it did. I wasn't shocked or anything, I just felt disgust and apathy like all what's done is in vain. That is the proper feeling.

I think people hate corruption in boxing as it's utterly disgusting. After the fight you feel not only Groves was robbed, but the audience as well: you, me, and thousands of other viewers. What's not to hate?

That Stoppage was ****! And Froch is talking **** all the time so the hate is understandable.
