Froch was getting his **** pushed in. Granted he came on in the last couple rounds out of desperation, but the two cards that had him down by a point were scored by either blind men or paid men. The ref allowed tons of fouls which in most fights would have resulted in points taken....groves with the headbutt and froch with the elbow, among others. The stoppage was ridiculous, as groves was fighting back, had not tasted the canvas, had no standing 8, had barely been in real trouble the whole fight, had froch buzzed way worse on several occaisons, was not out on his feet, was not unable to defend or fire back.......and so on and so on. Reeks of corruption.
They don't have to receive under the table money to lean toward some fighter instead of the other. If you are paid, even within the rules, by one promoter, since you don't bite the hand that feeds you, you will "naturally" lean toward his fighters. So when that happen, yes, we can say the ref and juges were bad.

Reeks of corruption. Exactly.
As for Groves-Froch ?? Groves deserves an immediate rematch. Anything less would be unfair. Ive been saying for ages boxing is more corrupt today than ever it was in the 50's. At least they tried to hide it then today its let to run wild. Which was Joe Cortez ? Was he incompetent or corrupt??? Are the Vegas judges corrupt or incompetent??? How about New York ?? It doesn't matter which it is to be honest but something has to be done about it. Teddy Atlas was bang on the money when he said it needed an INternational Boxing commission to keep the sport legit The commissions as well as the officials must be held accountable. Till this is done boxing is on a parr with pro wrestling
