Stfu OP. You're an incompetent **** who doesn't know **** about boxing.
Froch is a true warrior with an iron chin (bad knockdown in the first round, but until it becomes a habbit for him, I won't revoke his iron jaw status),

Froch is a warrior. That fat piece of **** referee trainer however isn't.

It was tough on Groves who fought a great fight and showed how good he is.
Why the hate on Froch though? He was badly floored in round 1 and at times took insane clean shots on his chin, came through it all to at the very least have the kid on the point of stopage. In fact he probably would have stopped Groves regardless of the **** stoppage.
What more do you want from a fighter, was it a **** fight?

NO just NO. Froch is a warrior and one of the few fighters that he's willing to fight anybody. He gave us exciting fights at a top level.

Don't forget he's 36 y/o and he was involved in some tough wars during his career. He accumulated a lot of punishment in his fights.

People should calm down and still give Froch his props and his respect. I'm convinced that Froch will give Groves a rematch cuz it makes any sense and people want so badly to see it. :good

No doubt Groves was winning the fight, and by a substantial margin. And he had hurt Froch pretty badly in the 1st round. But it was also clear to me that Froch had gotten a bit more of a measure of Groves, whether that being from Groves tiring, or Froch had shaken off the slow start, or what not.

The stoppage was god awful, but make no mistake, Groves was hurt. Now, you ask me, he would have made it out of the round, and been able to stem the tide. But Froch would have been riding a wave of momentum. Would it have been enough to win him the fight? I don't know.

But boycott the guy? If we boycotted every guy who was on the gimme end of a referee's poor decision, we'd have no one to watch except the perennial opponent type fighters.

Agreed that Froch was hurt worse, especially when he got dropped like a sack of grain in the 1st. Groves was hurt though, tired as well, but Froch did land 3 or 4 hard shots in that barrage. Momentum was definitely in Froch's favor. That isn't to say it would have definitely continued.

Unfortunately, we have an inconclusive ending. Groves was ahead, that much is clear, and more than by what the judges had. But there's no way to say he wins the fight for sure had it continued. And I won't say Froch would have won it. Aside from that round, and a few moments, Groves was the superior fighter on the night.

did you even watch the fight? Cobra got straight back up from the surprise knockdown he then walked through everything groves had to offer, CF eating numerous powerpunches to his nose and face but ultimately wore down GG and would have destroyed gassy groves if foster hadnt stepped in and saved him

i feel bad for froch , if he had been allowed to finish groves this win wouldnt be tainted, and we wouldnt be hearing all this nonsence about groves being robbed and carl doing something wrong apart from getting caught with some lethal punches like he always does

and **** all you haters jealous of froch, especially khan, haye, groves, degale, cleverly

another spectacular cobra win by Carl “The Conqueror” Froch = LEGEND
next up is andre “roid” ward getting KtfO in UK 2014

Stop crying , groves fanboys.. george is lucky the ref stopped it or he would have sustained some serious damage in the late rounds! no way he would have survived

m not trying to take anything away from george, he’s a great fighter and he proved he is able to get in the ring with top contenders and have success..
I see him having a better chance vs andre ward , as he doesnt possess the same punching power or punch resistance as carl does

wouldnt recommend a rematch though, carl will be more serious next time..could end up killing the guy!

I wondered the same thing, he was mumbling and rambling a lot and saying words wrong in interviews etc.
