So some people dont like Froch, whats the big deal? Just because has become (a self proclaimed) warrior doesnt mean everyone will like him-i mean, isnt this common sense, not everyone likes the same people?
'Gassed'? Who is this joker? Who cares about marks on face? Groves is pale and ginger - obviously he marks up badly.
You don't have a genuine response so accuse others it. Yawn. If you don't want people to think you are an alt then don't obviously troll with your first few threads. Yeah looking at how the judges scored the earlier rounds I think he probably would have got robbed on the cards. Do you think those cards were accurate? What I know however is that Groves was robbed in the bull**** stoppage as do you and the rest of the world who saw the fight.
Okay, il admit i was joking about but seriously people need to be rational. You cant moan about being robbed on the cards when IT NEVER HAPPENED. Thats all. No the cards were not fair, but Froch wasnt ahead so there is nothing anybody can say that he was going to be robbed. If the Judges had Froch ahead then yes i agree with you. Do you agree that Froch was coming on stronger in rounds 8 and 9?
Loving your family isn't a redeeming feature for god sake, it's a given. And no, I'm in work - probably earning more money that you'll ever make. The fact I'm my own boss allows me to come on here and debate with people such as yourself.
As I said in another thread, both fighters lost in this fight as Carl potentially could have done what he did to taylor. However we will never know as he got a complete gift from the ref which he wont accept despite being obviously true. Imagine if he got stopped like that? He'd be screaming blue murder. In my mind Groves only needed to see the end to win the decision from that point barring KDs. The judges however would have given Carl a comfortable win if he won the last few rounds and that to my mind is a joke. The scoring early on in the fight was almost as criminal as the stoppage.
Fair point mate i agree with that. Im not even debating the gift either i agree with all of you but the bit i have highlighted is what a lot of people arent considering which isnt fair. Groves could have won, but Froch could have Taylor'd him. We will never know. Just think Froch is getting a lot of stick that the ref and Eddie Hearn should be getting instead.
Carl wouldn't be getting the stick if he said "The stoppage was clearly bull**** but I think I would have got to Groves before the fight closed. The ref has robbed me too" Instead he has said things like "the referee may have saved George Groves career" and "I don't need to give anyone a rematch" and "it's not my decision as to whether or not we have a rematch" What happened to the warrior who'll fight anyone? And that's why people are like " F UCK YOU Froch!" he trying to legitimise what happened
When the fight was made a lot of people on here were whinning and moaning it was not PPV standard. Froch and Groves had a job to do in hyping the fight which in turn brought in vital ppv sales and in turn earning them a lot more money. A lot of joe public and fight fans would not have turned their tvs on and got out their £14.95 - both fighters hyped the fight brilliantly. Now people on here are complaining, stfu you ******s, I am truly staggered by peoples lack of boxing knowledge. If Froch and Groves stated they respected each other and declared their undying love for each other, the fight would not have sold. Some of the regulars on here are great posters but there are others who simply do not know the sport at all and as such ESB is faced with pathetic drivel from keyboard warriors.
Calling himself an international superstar and telling the whole world only Lennox Lewis is better in british boxing annoys people, ''its as simple as that''
Great OP, completely agree. I haven't read all 9 pages but no doubt it's full of people calling Carl a **** etc. People need to get over the interviews. He's a boxer, talking **** is in the job description. He should have refused to do the side by side interview with Groves though. That was always going to be a PR nightmare.
