Before Froch got his ass handed to Groves, he was legitimately the #2 SMW having beaten everyone except Ward. Now Groves destroyed Froch but had a laughable stoppage to save Froch. Groves is #2 behind Ward as no-one ATM can beat Ward.
I'm trying to think but who's actually a better SMW than Groves besides Ward ATM? Nobody, maybe Direll but he's gone off track.
anthony dirrell would give groves a very good fight right now, bika beats him at this minute not to long in the future though but now groves should take steglitz or how ever you spell it next imo
because groves has a contentious loss then hes better than anyone in the Super 6 and anyone with a world title apart from Ward.... well. if only boxing was so easy. credit to GG for a great fight that he probably should have won though.
Agree, after froch 2 go after steiglez then bika belt tho degale will probaly get that belt first which set us up nicely for Groves/Degale 3 in a nice little london dust up. Oh i can but dream.
Groves would probably knock ward out because he can box and has knockout power, groves probably did better against Froch than Ward did because he knocked an iron chinned fighter down and hurt him in pretty much every round and only lost because a terrible refereeing decision.
rematch has to happen. groves won fans this weekend, never seen a London boy cheered in manchester so well.
