Should Groves have been stopped?

This is essentially a poll to see who is a troll, every sane person knows that stoppage was awful. 3 shots landed and its stopped with groves firing back and still clearly able to defend himself.

Foster would have stopped hagler vs hearns within the first 3 seconds.

And all this crap about one more punch could've done some serious damage...just because Froch wasn't out for the count, getting clubbed in the head repeatedly because you haven't got the ability to avoid being hit cleanly repeatedly by a well timed and accurate right hand is dangerous...

 

If the ref gave a standing 8 count, Froch would probably still keep hitting him and foster would allow it

 

The anger is behind Groves but sadly the ref may have robbed Froch of another great comeback. The stuff that defines legends. He's never been talented enough to have easy fights, especially on the elite level. His legacy is being defined with how tough he is and beating an undefeated fighter near the end of his career could've been huge.

Like someone said in another thread. No way a stoppage but Groves losing his 0 could be a good thing in the long run. He wont be so concerned with protecting it in the manner a lot of 'undefeated' fighters do in this current era of fighters.

Anyone who watches the way Groves is vs Carl when he is absolutely ****ed after the KD and still feels Groves should have been waved off deserves to be castrated.
