Timothy "Desert Storm" Bradley should be #2 on the pound-for-pound list.

The Provo fight should have been a draw if they ruled the KD correctly in the 2nd round. And we all know he lost to Pac. Timmy is not #2 P4P.

I have Floyd, Rigo, Ward and Pac ahead of him.

I dnt get how people ran rigo so high, he's had one big fight :S i think we saw a few weeks ago, donaire is fairl useless if he has to come to you, which is what he had to do with rigo.. i'l rate rigo if he beats leo santa cruz. I mean he's no doubt a great fighter but can't jst have one big win and be ranked top 5 p4p wtf is this :S

The same 40 year old that was favored and many had him koing Tim, including many respected posters. Jmm was obviously juiced up the waa zoo. Don't discredit the win. Jmm was riding high after his ko of Pac and Tim sonned him.

I have no problems putting Tim at #2. His resume is deeper and he has two wins over atgs.

It's about skills gents and p4p Ward has the better skillset. Bradey may have been in tougher looking fights but that's only because his skillset wasn't up to par. His best looking fight was JMM. If his skillset was that of Wards, the Prov fight would have been easy.

I'm tired of hearing this rationalization as an explanation. Bradley was very seriously hurt multiple times. Provo never was. No question Provo took some middle rounds off and Bradley danced and pitty patted around the ring. To me, this discredits the sport, in the sense that it is clear cut as to who took the most punishment. No one needs to explain to me the point system. I understand it. Even in the rounds that Provo took off, he was coming forward. He was keeping the pressure on while Bradley was trying to gather himself. If this fight had been fought in a neutral site, in neither the US nor Russia, Provo is declared the winner. In large measure, because a neutral ref would have declared several other knock downs.

Do you deny the ropes held Bradley up several times in the fight? If your going to be a stickler with the rules you have to award Provo 10-8 rounds on three occasions. That makes Provo the clear winner.

That Marquez that Bradley beat just came off a KO win of then P4P#2 boxer in Pac.
Also prior to that, he defeated a prime, but arguably not yet peaked, fighter in Provo.

I have no problems seeing either Bradley or Ward in the number 2 spot.
Just don't put Pac there. And I am a huge fan.

Except one was a gift decision for the home-country fighter and the other was against a pensioner.

learn to score, the most you can Provo is a draw. the thing about this fight is, it's pretty easy to score, and it was bradley who won the most rounds..

I think Ward and Bradley are about equal, p4p-wise. Hard to clearly put one above the other, but in any case clearly they vie for 2 and 3 spots. Its really a huge shame that Arum and FMJ have such personal issues, and Bradley doesnt have drawing power... from a sporting perspective he deserves the FMJ chance more than anyone by far.
