Does Froch honestly believe Ward will re-match him?

Ward has no interest in embarassing him again. And when Froch comes out with things like ''Ward can fight me in England'' like he did today, it doesn't help his credibility. Ward will not fight in England, certainly not after the corrupt decision against Groves.

I seriously think Froch is delusional. It's either Groves or retire, even Hearn knows it (he's triyng to set up a rematch).

Froch is a twat. Doesn't he remember that Ward beat him - comprehensively with one hand, yes one!

Froch you twat, if your so hard, rematch Groves.

Froch fights that need(ed) a rematch: Kessler (I had Froch winning both), Dirrell (which I had Froch losing), Groves (a wash: silly stoppage but it's fair to say both were robbed in one way or another).

Fights that don't: Ward and all the others he's had.

The only difference in a rematch would be that all 3 scorecards would be 118-110 minimum.

He wants to get feather dusted into retirement - it's looking increasingly like he simply doesn't have the heart to fight Groves, knowing as he does that he is able to hurt him. The only credible options are Groves or retirement. Anything else and he's now known as 'The Coward'. What a horrible ending that would be to a fine career.

Differences between Ward and Groves... Froch could fight Ward and get outclassed once more, but he won't take a **** load of punishment. Fight Groves and he knows he might get walloped.

Funny thing is, in a recent press conference Froch said that Ward will likely go unbeaten for the remainder of his career. Not the best frame of mind to be in considering you want to rematch the man.

That was only when trying to downplay the only loss on his record (apparently the Kessler loss doesn't count now, because he won the rematch). He's not Carl The Contradiction for nothing.

I think Ward fighting Froch makes sense, he can grab two more titles and unify the SMW division. It was a clear win last time around why not ? in fact the question on my mind is why wouldent he want to ?

There are other variables though. Froch is reluctant to fight in the US, and Ward - having seen the Dirrell and Groves fights - would be crazy to fight in the UK.

Also, the box-office potential of Froch for a Ward fight will be limited in the UK unless he rematches and beats Groves beforehand.

I hear what your saying but I think Wards team would be crazy not to do everything to make this fight happen.
