yeah that looks bad. considering he wouldnt fight originally because of the money not being ready as promised, but basically getting the money and after 6 rounds not toughing it out because of a sore back....looks slack
Mosley should continue fighting If there are promotion willing to pay him 7 figures for what was essentially a sparring match.
He made the conscious decision to risk exaxtly this eventuality knowing his body is deteriorating. Granted he probably felt confident after slugging on even terms with Cano, but physically Mosley had really not mustered a respectable effort in some time before that. (Zombie mode in the Mora draw and Pacquiao and Canelo losses)
Winning a boxing match isn't just about winning on points or KO's, you can win just as easily by cuts that were opened up by legitmate punches or even causing your opponent to injure themselves by making them over extend punches which can cause shoulder or arm dislocations such as what occured in the Byrd vs Vitali K fight. Mundine is a gifted boxer with high level skills that purists of the sport can appreciate. Is he on the same level as Mayweather? NO but i would give him a very good chance indeed of beating either Canelo or Cotto This is a good break down of the fight [yt]?v=4FSNSc_6Bi8[/yt]
That sucks, I was going to place a bet on Mundine simply because of how bad SSM is nowadays in my opinion. The only thing that stopped me was I have no clue who Anthony Mundine is.
Everybody seemed to know how **** Mosley is at this point, coming up in weight, and people are still somehow stifled by Mundine beating him... I hate the man and the boxer like most, but Mundine has always been just a touch underrated because of so.
