Mayweather is at 147, Molina beat Lara, Kirkland and jcc jr (at least once, basically a lhw) he might not have the best style, ko power, speed or exciting fights.

He is literally a regular joe who Is a tactical genius. Works his ass of to get in shape doesn't have amazing power speed and all these other athletic gifts.

    How about a little tourney?

    Canelo vs Molina
    Lara vs trout
    Winners fight each other

He's ugly to watch, but technically he's hard to beat. He's not someone you will completely outclass because he fights so awkward.

Need to see more of him. Think he can pick up some big wins.

I don't get it. He beat lara and chavez jnr.. didn't he draw with them? Are you just giving him wins for draws ?

Molina might fight Roberto Garcia 33-3 22kos next since he cant get a fight with Canelo. since they are both signed by Warriors Boxing it seem possible that they make that fight, if Molina wins hes still champ and if Garcia wins titles stays with Warriors Boxing. Either way Warrior wins and fans get to see a good little scrap between two good fighters!

Molina, IMO, has a boxing IQ that almost rivals (in some senses) that of guys like Hopkins and Ward. Carlos just doesn't have the athleticism or skillsets of these guys, but he makes the best of what he has and I have a great deal of respect for him as a boxer. He's been rather unlucky and unfortunate with some of the decisions that could/should have went his way.

Good fight. The winner should fight the Trout/Lara winner.

He was beating Kirkland when the fight was stopped for no good reason IMAO. I was rooting for Molina and he fought great in the first half. That said Kirkland was peaking up the pace and Molina got hurt by the KD. It was a similar case to Froch-Groves nobody can say what was going to happen in the final rounds.

Molina resume at 154 is really good though and I always have him as one of the best fighters at the weight.

No, he didn't beat kirkland he went down hard and it was enough time in the fight for kirkland to finish him off, he was tired of all the holding and to top it off hurt, if you ask any odds maker what would had been the odds after that round, I'll say it will had been a safe bet that molina was going to get ko, so no he didn't win the fight, you can argue that he could had finish the fight but it could be argue the other way too, another scenario could had him on the floor a couple of more time on the last three rounds, very hard to win a fight while going down 3 or 4 times

If you know the boxing rules, and I'm sure they went over those back in the dressing room, if a corner jump inside the ring before the belt, the fighter is DQ
    This content is protected
, so he has his corner to thank for that, the controversy was created by his ppl and kirkland and the fans were robbed of a clean win

He completely out classes Kirkland until his vs corner stepped in the ring
