There's probably some lesson to be learn here

    but it'd be a non fan-friendly lesson

Floyd Mayweather is the most boring fighter as unlike guys like Bernard Hopkins, he actually does have the power and speed to end fights and give the fans a knockout or some great action but chooses to fight a safety first style which is boring and always means his fights end up dull and unwatchable no matter how great his skills are.

Whilst I massively respect him as a fighter, I find Ward pretty boring to0 actually watch...

Mayweather can somehow keep me gripped for the entire time. I'm hoping someone FINALLY catches him with a big punch, but the dude's just impossible to hit cleanly.

Mainly Wlad - the guy who holds every advantage over an opponent but would rather grab, lean & clinch than fight effectively. I find that inexcusable for the Heavyweight champ.

I don't find guys like Rigondeaux, Mayweather or Ward boring at all. Good, technical boxers.

I kind of give Hopkins a pass because of his age. He wasn't always boring. I also thought his fights with Pascal were entertaining.

Well he means boring good fighters, obviously, and those would be beltholders. There's no point in talking about the Dominick Guinn's of the world.

Wlad has to be at the top of any reasonable list. Has more tools than anyone else, has weal opposition, is usually bigger and still hugs for 30 out of every 36 minutes.
