No, who can blame him for wanting to cash out against Chavez whilst not taking the same punishment

He fought him and could of easily like many fighters over the years saw it out to points after that KD or found a way out like i believe Mosley did yesterday. Froch didn't...

People have issues with him constantly saying he's a warrior even going into the Kessler rematch. Fact is he is a warrior and no matter what he does he gave the young buck his chance and he got the win no matter what people think of stoppage.

Froch = Warrior. I wouldn't ever tell a boxer what fight he should take. He will take the fight that makes the most sense financially for him and his family and for him as a fighter.

If Froch loses to Groves he will lose out on a big money fight at the end of his career, he will probably fight Chavez Jr then maybe fight Groves again, not really a duck its a smart move

One decision doesn't turn a warrior into a coward.

Froch could take a big money PPV against Chavez or even Ward (Ward has started making nice noises). After that, win or lose, he has the rematch with Groves. He won't get the big PPV if he first rematches Groves and loses.

The smart guy would cash in and then take the risk, rather than take the risk and maybe not get the cash-in.

As much as I've disapproved of Froch's conduct recently I would not begrudge him that plan. He may be many things, but afraid of a fight is not one of them.

He should leave the warrior talk to others (as over-used as it is) imo. Calling yourself a warrior and iron-man all the time make you sound like a bit of a n0b.

    Telling ya!

I was reading today's 'Boxing News' and he spouted all the 'Gladiatorial/Roman' nonsense, and it just grates on me now.

EVERY Boxer is a warrior, that's a fact. Carl is just an overgrown nerd who is probably into 'Warhammer' and has watched '300' too many times.

The most self-absorbed ****-ring going, Carl is.

It may well do so but i don't get impression Carl cares to much for what others think of him and honestly if he feels that way about himself he's entitled to say it.

Many boxers have called themselves things and many have called themselves things they defo ain't!. And lets face it he is a warrior. And maybe it helps him get through these wars.

His mindset is what helps him win fights IMHO.

Froch's win over Groves was as clear as Groves win over DeGale.
