Hard this year no one really stood out like Nonito last year

Maybe Stevenson if he bombs out Bellew, KO'd Dawson in 1 when he was the underdog, destroyed Cloud and will probably destroy Bellew

Everyone has 1 decent win and the other(s) not so good

I think I'm going with Danny Garcia too. Dude never fails, super under-rated which is why he probably won't get it.

GGG has created the most headlines outside Floyd. He's in the running. Also Floyd's wins this year were against trumped up fighters.

Stevenson if he Ko's Bellew. Runners up Danny Garcia, GGG, and Floyd on the simple fact that he schooled a good fighter that was 15-20 lbs heavier than him.

The Matthysse fight was a legit win it was just he struggled with Judah at the end, he shoulda shut Judah out in that fight

Cant understand why anyone would give FMJ FOTY, he beat two guys. OK boxers. Canelo will probably end up being quite good in the future but.... yeah. I still think people confuse FOTY with p4p #1. FMJ didnt have great achievements or KOs this year, he just had two matches that he won.

Mikey Garcia lost a belt this year. He didnt make weight. Yeah making weight is hard, and messing it up can written off in the scheme of things, especially if they move up and dont do it again. But still, everyone else in contention for FOTY DID make the weight.

An argument can be made for Stevenson if he performs in his last bout of the year. Same for Kovalev. Big, dominating wins, shiny new belts, and high activity. GGG can get consideration for runner up spot for activity and dominance as well.

But FOTY award has to go to Bradley. He beat a guy who proved to be an A level fighter, not an off night. Proved he has the chin, heart and skills to get through. Then he took down a top p4p fighter and ATG in JMM, and beat the man who beat the man Bradley had controversy with.

Bradley might not have big punching power, but far and away he proved the most this year out of anyone. The man deserves his respect.

I don't know how it could be anyone else other than GGG at this point. He went 4-0 (all KO's) and looked damn good doing it. If Stevenson KO's Bellew than they should share the #1 spot.
