Thurman gives floyd more trouble than any other welterweight. Don't think he's ready to beat him yet but if I had to choose one guy who could one day take floyds 0 at welterweight it would be thurman. If thurman catches floyd in 2015 then he could take it.

Thurman beats any welterweight bar mayweather, dude is a beast, a true welterweight. Reminds me a lot of tommy hearns but a more well rounded inside game to go with it. He's no tommy hearns yet, but he has the potential to be that good.

    One time.

Keith Thurman is in the same age/shape that De La Hoya & Mayweather were when they beat Hernandez.

Young, Hungry, Strong contender. If its not Thurman then who?

    PED to 147 Broner :tired
    KOed many times Khan?
    Still in 140 Garcia
    Came from 130 Guerrero

Thurman is an Undefeated Natural Welter not another Media Creation :deal

I don't like Mayweather, But Hernandez is no Mayweather. Hernandez, God bless his soul, never was a P4P guy.

    Berto is a natural WW.:yep

Right now Thurman needs more experience.

But I have talked with Keith multiple times, hes a humble guy, and he says when his time comes, he will be ready. He realizes it could be a couple years, and that could work out to a MASSIVE advantage. By the time they fight (if they do) who knows of the speed of floyd. The guy is a machine, but boxing is cruel and age can catch up to you in a round. Fundamentally I dont know if Keiths style right now could catch floyd, but if he worked on his cornering, and if he could get floyds respect early, who knows.

Either way, the guy is a classy guy and I would LOVE to see him take the torch.

Hope Thurman starts getting bigger fights soon. I think he's a solid fighter and if he stays at welter he has a good chance of making that division his.
