Round 1

Skeete is circling and dropping in the light oaring left jab on the much shorter Lynes from outside. Lynes paws and feints with his jab while turning, looking to set up a right hand up the center lane. Skeete keeps moving and controlling range, lightly jabbing and turned defensively with his right glove up by his chin. Lynes is watching, doing nothing. Finally a forward step from Lynes, and he is slapped on the mouth by a short counter left hook. Double jab to the chest by Lynes, falling well short.

Round 2

Skeete is jabbing on the outside, double-tapping Lynes high on the head. Clinches and releases by Skeete as Lynes presses forward, throwing lead hooks. Skeete jabs and bounces away on his toes in between tie-ups. BIG overhand right by Lynes after threatening with a left hook, clipping Skeete on the left temple and shaking up his equilibrium. Skeete is down like a tripod on his right knuckles and one knee. Skeete is up and jabbing at the bell as Lynes charges in with hooks.

Round 3

Skeete is backing away, waving his left glove out waist high as he slides his feet along the JD Sports logo at center ring. Lynes dives in with a pair of gutter-balls, uppercutting beneath Skeete's low guard. Counter right hands dropped onto the forehead by Skeete, aiming carefully while backpedaling and not allowing Lynes to close the distance. BIG LEFT HOOK BY LYNES, jumping in and rocking Skeete. Right hand up by the chin, Skeete continues to hold the left hand low, waving it around, looking to pop jabs up into Lynes' head on the outside as he shuffles away.

Skeete needs to cop a severe enough prolonged beating here to make him do us a favor and consider post-exposure retirement. (a'la Hamed or Gerber) :deal

 

Round 4

Skeete is backing up and waving his left, throwing a few double jabs. Lynes is looking for angles to dive inside and land combinations, but Skeete is too mobile and long-legged, gone before Lynes can touch down and begin to load up. Body feints by Lynes, still not getting inside. Light jabs by Skeete.

Round 5

Skeete is jabbing and doing a little shake-and-bake on the outside, leaning forward and bobbing left and right with his arms up, elbows above his throat. Lynes is stepping to him, throwing jabs at his chest, and lunging in with hard right hands, just nicking Skeete as he backs up and pivots. Hooking flurries to the body by Lynes diving in past Skeete's jab. Quick but powerless straight flurry by Skeete, catching Lynes as he takes a rocking-chair step inside.

Saunders is building this up as FOTN and commending Skeete's performance, acting every bit the objective consummate professional with no ulterior agenda whatsoever in his guest commentary role. :roll:

(Skeete is a strongly rumored and somewhat obvious eventual opponent for BJS, provided he keeps his cherry intact...)

 

Round 6

Skeete is waiting for Lynes, taking a long step backwards as Lynes rushes in with a body jab, and dropping a jab on his head. Double jab and chopping right by Skeete coming briefly forward, then quickly surrendering the lead as Lynes regroups. Skeete is hopping in place, throwing light straight volleys at Lynes from no closer than medium-long range. Lynes tries countering past a Skeete jab with a straight right but can't reach. Swatting right by Skeete backing away.
