I think HBO would be happy to throw Shumenov-Bellew onto a card...Pretty much everyone in boxing wants to get Shumenov out of the picture so let's just do it.

Exactly! Other clowns on here sayin "he done well" and he "took on one of the most dangerous boxers out there"... he didn't, he may aswell have rejected the fight in the first place because he tried to run and hide.

Respect isn't an entitlement in any walk of life. Bellew conducted himself with absolute zero class last week, made bold profestations and came no where near to delivering on them. If it was a one of fair enough but he's constantly at that crap. The only good thing that came out of the beating he took in the 6th is that it might humble him but I doubt it.

I honestly think the first McKenzie fight kinda put the fear of god into Bellew, he became a little gunshy after that, but his mouth didn't

Bellew said he felt the shots in the Stevenson fight which is unlike him so thinks a move to CW is the answer, does he not think he will feel the shots there just as much if not more.

Maybe we are being a bit harsh. In hindsight he was totally outclassed in every way. Nothijg he tried would have worked. Stevenson basically played with him and ended it with ease, with bellew hanging on to the rope practically giving up. If he had done what he said and gone for it he would have been countered to the canvas. He just hasnt got the skills, power, chin or heart to cut it at world level. As john conteh said, it was man against boy, different levels.

True, but if your a self-proclaimed "warrior" who's willing to die in the ring and all that then surely your gonna go out on your shield if you feel you can't win.

Look at when Gavin Rees fought Adrien Broner, Rees pretty much knew before he got the ring that he was gonna get beat so he just flew at Broner and flung everything he could at him, yeah he got the **** beat out of him, but everyone who watched it respected what he put into it, even the fans in Atlantic City were appreciative of what he was doing and cheering him on.
