Is Stevenson still a hypejob?

    Stopped Dawson, Cloud and now Bellew in a row. Yes he is 36 years old, but turned pro late and has not been in any big wars that could slow him down. He might not be the must skilled, but he stopped Dawson who i don't have to tell how hyped up he was by the americans. He is a legit LWH Champion :bbb

    Absolutely legit. I questioned how good he was even after the Dawson win (just got lucky and caught him?) but he's got crazy power, and has a lot of good movement and skill behind it....I'm a fan

    Legit FOTY candidate, and you don't get on that shortlist by accident. I'm pleasantly surprised by the level Adonis has been able to take his game to, I honestly thought his ceiling wasn't as high as it's turned out to be. Well done, Superpimp :good

    he's a for sure foty candidate and if they gave out an award for guy willing to fight anybody he would be a lock for it

    the guy fears no one at this point his run is sort of reminding me of a 1950s version of sonny liston he's not only fighting these guys he's beating them senseless

    I think he's a better boxer than people have given him credit for, people have had a notion of him as a banger and nothing else, he made Bellew look silly at times.

    I think he'd play the role of a technician and a defensive boxer against Kovalev.

    But I don't think his chin would hold up.. would love to see it happen though

    Agreed. He's craftier than I initially gave him credit for, and though I'd favor Kovalev to eventually catch him and knock him out, I won't underrate Stevenson's chances of winning that fight.
