Prediction: Stevenson is badly beaten before he steps into the ring with Kovalev

Adonis Stevenson will be exposed and exposed badly before he steps in the ring with Sergey Kovalev. The fight at the moment by the boxing fraternity is an even money fight. These two will step into the ring at one point, however by that point most will see the fight result a foregone conclusion: think Andre Ward stepping into the ring with Lucian Bute nowadays. :deal

Stevenson's two most recent opponents- Tavoris Cloud and Tony Bellew- suffered from a serve lack of confidence going into the fight- like many of Nonito Donaire's recent victims prior to Rigondeaux fight- they was unwilling to engage. Chad Dawson, on the other hand entered the fight with an Amir Khan mentality thinking he could trade with a glass jaw. :dead

The two guys Stevenson called out following his win over Tony Bellew- Bernard Hopkins and Carl Froch- would both beat Stevenson in one sided drubbings. Hopkins lateral movement and craftiness would see Stevenson clowned in embarrassing fashion for 12 rounds. Carl Froch has something a combination of what Stvenson's three most recent opponent's didn't have both of: a solid set of whiskers and a steel set of balls. He would destroy Stevenson toe to toe the same way he destroyed Lucian Bute. :vonnecunt

These aren't the only guys in and around 175 that have their way will Stevenson. Should the Bute-Pascal winner enter the fight with confidence they would beat Stevenson, Ward would obviously clown him, Kessler would also crack him, Groves would KO him. :bbb

Kovalev meanwhile has less lucrative options it the likes of Andrzej Fonfara, Jurgen Brahmer and Issac Chilemba and will continue to tear through the Light Heavyweight division on route to his first big even money super fight- which will be against Ward- not Stevenson. :deal

 

This is a good point Barry. If you keep watching boxing I'm sure you will see Stevenson get the beating that's coming to him sooner, rather than later- and it won't be Sergey Kovalev (not first anyway :yep)

Pascal isn't particularly slow. Hopkins clowned him.

If Bellew can give Stevenson trouble by doing next to nothing then guaranteed Froch would give him a ton more.

 

And fall back mode is something Carl Froch would not go into. Plan B for Froch is to try harder with Plan A. And Plan A alone beats Stevenson.

Hopkins schooled Pascal. You need to have much better fundamentals than Stevenson has to beat Hopkins. If Stevenson ever steps into the ring with The Executioner, class will be in for this one handed ******.
