What is worst : Stevenson or Mayweather?

Finding out Adonis Stevenson told one of the girls to choose between either a knife up her arse or he rapes her up the arse made me feel sick. He's a great boxer no doubt but I couldn't ever cheer him on.

 

Why don't you remake the thread and post some of your own bad decisions in your life and see how that feels?

We all fall down, and make mistakes... at lest they found a positive way to overcoming their flaws unlike some ....

That he's not the only one with a sad past. He wouldn't be the first one rehabilitated either.

 

Firstly, what has that got to do with stevenson, you assume people are tyson/50 cent fans

secondly, Tyson got screwed over, read up on the procedure the case followed and if you can come back and tell me that it was fair - i'll shut up about it. 50 cent shot a man, he could have been threatened to get shot beforehand, that isnt as bad as what stevenson did.

 

These two are only examples. I'm sure we can find other examples in boxing.

But between you and me... you REALLY think 50 is a righteous MOFO? C'mon man.

 

A sad past? Come on man don't be ridiculous you're making it sound like we should feel sorry for him. He served his time and is rehabilitated so good for him, but that doesn't take away what he did. I personally can't look past what he's done in the past enough to cheer him on. I watch and enjoy his fights but I just imagine what his victims must feel seeing him in the position he's in, it's not like he was a mugger or beat up some bloke on the street, just personally wouldn't ever get behind someone capable of the things he did.

 

Okay, I give you I chose the wrong words. What I meant was, He's not the only one in Boxing who did VERY Stupid things... better?

 

Yeah boxers have done stupid things. Martin Murray got into a few fights and got into trouble with police alot etc and can't get a visa now because of it, that's the kind of criminal past that doesn't bother me. It's the nature of Stevensons crimes that stop me from supporting him. Find me any boxer that has done similar things to him and il show you a boxer I won't cheer on.

Mike Tyson used to rob people as a kid. And hopkins, patterson was a petty thief too.. everyone has got a story quit being a pope.

 

They are both uncivilised. How you could root for either is beyond me.

Worse: Pacquiao cheating on his wife, has children outside of his marriage, huge gambling addiction. It was insane.
