How will ricky burns duck crawford?

Ricky Burns did indeed duck Adrien "The Problem" Broner. :deal He then got his jaw shattered by Raymundo Beltran and kept hold of his paper title with a ribbon wrapped draw atsch He needs to be a man and honour Raymundo Beltran with a rematch :yep

 

Crawford will destroy Burns in a big way, surely he cant vacate hes only just really gone up a weight..

 

Ricky Burns ducked Adrien Broner at 130lbs, citing issues making weight as the reason, he then picked up a paper title at 135lbs.

A year later Adrien Broner also made the move to 135lbs, took the WBC title off of Antonio DeMarco with a finger licking good performance and Ricky Burns still continued to **** in his pants.

The only way Ricky Burns would beat Terence Crawford is get him over to Scotland and rely on the same judges that robbed Raymundo Beltran.

 

Ducked Broner? What did he have, 7 weeks notice? Hardly ducking.

Eddie said in one of his IFL interviews that his plan is to lobby Top Rank to put the Beltran fight first with an agreement in place to face Crawford in the Summer. Failing that, he said he would ask permission from the WBO to put the mandatory on the backburner in favour of of a unification fight.

They seriously do not want Crawford.

 

Here we go again. Burns side of the Broner story has been put across and debated over and over again. He got 7 weeks notice and wanted more. Do we really need to do it again? No one is changing their mind (believe him or don't) so it's pointless.

As for Crawford, if Burns fights him he'll get stick from the usual nobodies on here for not giving Beltran a deserved rematches. He's also now getting criticised for trying to line up a unification fight. Unbelievable. Especially given it wasn't that long ago he was getting stick for not doing that!

The guy can't win. 2014 will be a big year for him one way or another. How about we wait and see what happens before making unsubstantiated claims.

 

I agree with most of this but Burns did duck Broner. I actually think Vasquez is a tougher fight than Crawford so If that fight gets made he deserves massive credit.

 

Could you blame Burns for ducking Broner at lighweight? The guys a beast. Should move back down. Not the same fighter at WW.

 

Burns won't duck Crawford and i honestly haven't been that impressed by Crawford "look what he did to Prescott" look what Mitchell did to Prescott and what did Burns do to Mitchell? Destroyed him in 4 rounds! Klimov was there to be a russian punchbag in his last fight aswell didn't make him work at all.

 

If I remember correctly, Burns was scheduled to defend his world title in Broner's home town, while Broner had an undefeated ridiculous KO record. If I was Burns, I'd have said Glasgow or nothing. I don't blame him there.

He did pretty much deserve to lose both his last fights, so we need to see the Rickster get it back.
