Incorrect. Id give Wlad full credit if he walked away from this pointless fight and fought the names in the division like a real champ.

He won't because he had planed fighting Boystov, a guy a level below Lepai, but that didn't work out as planned.

Just when you thought the Heavyweight division couldn't get any worse, **** like this happens.

Let's be honest Leapai isn't even a Top 15 Heavyweight even with the Boytsov victory.

all u WHINGERS putting down leapai have short memories.

    u constantly *****.

u should be thankful that a klit opponent will enter the ring with bad intentions. he can't do any worse than the rest that have failed.

if he loses, he would at least have had a crack.

Terrible, but better take this out of the way than giving up the title and having another paper champion.

Pretty disappointing fight here considering Wlad is the heavyweight champion and Leapai probably doesn't make the top 15 heavyweights. He's an ok fighter coming off a big upset but he's still not a guy who should be getting cracks at the heavyweight title when its only being defended twice a year or so.

I don't blame Wlad for facing his mandatories, even bad ones,
the problem is that Wlad shouldn't be wasting his optional fights with guys like Pianetta, Mormeck, and Wach. When you fight second rate opponents in between mandatories and then you get guys like Leapai as a mandatory you get on a run of defenses like Wlad has.

Wlad has really become incredibly uniteresting the last few years. He's either beating undeserving guys or when he does beat worthy contenders like Haye or Povetkin he stinks the place out.

At the end of the day Wlad could get in the ring and beat a little old lady to death with a baseball bat and his idiot fans would lap it up and boast about what a great win it was.

Why are the WBO doing this, just put him in a final eliminator, fhe instbat on top of his win over boysov then fair enough. This is yet another **** pointless Klitschko fight.
