    Barry deserves this reward after all that he has done for boxing in the UK.There was no promoter better.Fast Car has a long way to go to ever catch up to his old man in this biz.

    I agree that he is easily the best British promoter of the last 25-30 years.

    Amazing he got in when he spent the 1990's saying he didn't even like boxing.


    He has also just been inducted into the World Pool hall of fame.

    Says it all really.
