    Because boxing isn't what fans want it to be. For a top $ guy like Floyd or Pac it's about business. Why not fight a shot Mosley for 20 mil, than fight a Sergio Martinez for 5 mil?

    If you or I were in Floyds shoes we'd do the exact same. Boxing is too flawed and until it gets fixed, the money guys will take money fights.

    Mayweather is not a JMW. He's not going to fight there unless it's a big fight. His 3 fights at JMW have averaged 2 million PPV buys.

    I know but the real truth is everybody knows he is he best of this generation you may not care for him as a person but he is one of the greatest to ever put gloves on, and his business model is genius.

    i think 147 is his optimum weight. max weight where he still perrform at his best.

    154 is pushing it so he carefully selects past primes, or drained them.

    2lbs = drained lol

    Canelo looked better stamina wise against Floyd than he did against Trout...yet he was drained

    any way you guys can knock Floyd of his accomplishments.

    edit: actually, didn't Canelo weigh in at 153 against Trout?

    Floyd has earnt his right to choose his fights. he fought Alvarez at Jr. Middle which is not even golovkins division so i dont know why mention him? Floyd walks around at 150, he could still fight Jr. Welter. he struggled to put weight on for Alvarez, hes naturally fighting against bigger guys like alvarez who will re-hydrate to weigh nearly 20lbs more on fight night, why would he move up to Middle to fight GGG or martinez!? u will be asking him to fight stevenson or Hopkins next!

    Who should he face? whos actually there to fight? pacqiuao fight has lost a lot of intrest although id still like to see it. Garcia maybe? Broner? Trout? Bradley? or a rematch with JMM?

    to be honest i love mayweather but iv lost intrest in his fights there is no-one i want to see him fight hes done enough IMO. Mayweather could move up to Middle but i think its a step too far, he doesnt have that natural size, talent can surely only take you so far. some people on here just expect him to keep moving up! calling for hopkins etc. imagine if he beats hopkins whos going to be next Klitschko!?

    much prefer to see Bradley v Garcia, Garcia v Broner, Bardley v Broner
