Who in your opinion is the best fighter at figuring out opponents and making adaptions to win a fight. sometimes you see fighters go into fights such as recently with Rios vs Pac and they have no plan b, they cant think in the ring. they just cant understand how they can get the win. so list past and present fighters who constantly can figure out opponents and change their game plan mid fight. being able to think on your feet is an underestimated skill in boxing, anyone who has ever boxed will know when your in the ring its just you and your opponent sometimes you to take a step back and analyse what is happening and how you can change the direction of the fight. i think early tyson is a good example he was smart, figured out opponents and was devastating at closing fights, hes wasnt just a big puncher he was an extremly clever operator, however late tyson didnt have the ability to change the direction of the fight, he didnt think on his feet and just looked for the big punch. Mayweather claims to not even study fighters past fights he just goes in the ring figures them out after a few rounds and cruises from there. So who past and present had this ability to change direction of fights, overcome adversity in the ring (mid fight), and figure out a way to win
am 100% sure he could have never adapted vs Sven Ottke :deal Both Calazage and Ottke have no true legacy till they face each other, now or a decade later
Lennox adapted to Vitali and after 3 rounds began taking the fight into the trenches where Vitali's face became the Grand Canyon:bbb:vonnecunt
Explain? Using your face as a bulldozer until your opponent tires is not really changing anything up, is it now?
Calzaghe could box plan A,B,C,D,E,F,G Manny Steward always pointed out how impressed he was with how well Calzaghe could adapt, even going so far as to call him "very, very special" in that regard
morales? really ? when i think of morales i immediately think of barrera aswell and out of those 2 i think barrera had more depth to his style
