Floyd Mayweather vs. Amir Khan speculation & discussion

I have a theory about Khan. Here it goes -

WHen Khan was on top and champion, Mayweather ran from him and wouldn fight him. Now that Khan has some more losses and looks weaker than he used to, Mayweather wants him.

Does one wonder if Khan got so sick of not getting floyds attention that he decided to 'Trojan Horse' him and 'look bad' for 2 years, thereby garnering Moneyman's attention?

Has Khan been smarter than we think he is?

 

By talking ****, I didn't mean he's gonna say "I'm gonna **** this guy blah blah blah".

It'd be more like a passive aggressive comments "Kahn is younger and he adored me... etc."

 

Just another Mayweather move. He picks the fighter with the biggest name that poses the smallest threat. Khan should be fighting someone like Ortiz. It's not going to be a great fight just because they hype it up. It's just going to be more of the same.

 

Hahahha...after that boring ass bullsh-t fight the casuals wont tune in again..the gurerro and canelo fights had ZERO excitement. Nobody is watching this junk.

That ranking means NOTHING..he's never fought at the weight before. Let alone against anyone remotely good....

I think Khan is (and pacquiao was) faster...because they throw those punches in combination.
Anybody can be fast with one counter-punch...but how blistering fast can you be with 3-4 punches?

If this is all about money, then are we saying pac-fmj will make less? C'mon, pac's team is willing to make the fight. The earlier, the better action for us to behold.

 

I always felt Gary is a smallish Bantamweight, his speed is impressive in 126 cause of that

Any fast Smallish SMW will have an exceptional speed advantage in heavyweight & can look as impressive as Gary Russell vs the same level of opponents

Speed is important but it's just one advantage, just like velocity in wildcats

 

khan actually looks worse with hunter because he's trying to incoporate new things he's not used to.he'd need to be with virgil atleast another 2-3 fights to try any of these things.so his best shot is to fight floyd the way he always fights.it's his only shot.

 

Doesn't even matter how you dress it up, it's just a blatant mismatch.
Shouldn't even be a PPV.

 

I am a floyd fan and I think a fight with Khan is a joke.
I do not think it will happen but if it does I am calling "Shenanigans"!!!
