Can anyone really blame froch for wanting a big fight in vegas and securing his financial retirement. Love how people on this forum call boxers cowards especially ones like Froch, hilarious! Personally I think Froch should retire. As good as Froch/Kessler II was, I got the sense that it was two guys just past their primes beating the last great performance out of each other! It was only Froch's durability and strength that kept him in the Groves fight.
Don't agree with the big fight in Vegas and securing his retirement fund at all. Groves fight at Wembley with Froch doing a voluntary defence means he would get a great. Bunce mentioned it Monday to Groves where his standing would be in making a deal. Froch isn't a coward at all he just doesn't think before he speaks. Offers a rematch then changes his mind. Remember he was the one saying he was gonna smash Groves and he is not at his level etc etc Think u were bang on about Froch Kessler 2 and that Froch should retire. If anyone hasn't seen Groves on boxing hour people should watch it better interview than sky ringside in my opinion. Be interested to see how much sky influence have on Matchroom about the rematch. Heard a few people saying could Froch do a Calzaghe and go alone like Roy Jones fight. Can't see it myself
What the ****! Ringside has recorded 3 times and it's hasn't been on once. Women's rugby, F72 review and now footballs greatest. Proper joke
Hearn has actually said the Groves rematch is the biggest money fight. Think Froch would like to say he fought in a big vegas fight. Its kinda like the Hatton/Witter situation, Froch seems to genuinely dislike Groves and doesnt wanna give him another opportunity. TBH I really don't like Groves as hes seemed to of changed so much and tries to copy Haye, so I've been a little biased with this fight..
yeah great...Johnny tweeted 10pm what good is that? I set to record as per the planner at 11pm so missed it again!
I agree with this.I also think Groves was robbed, but the fact remains Froch won.He DID say after the fight he'd give George a return, but who says it has to be his next fight? If he took ,say,a Chavez fight first, won{no foregone conclusion}and retired I wouldn't blame him, certainly not accuse him of ducking.I agree with you about Froch and Kessler.I believe Groves was the better man against a version of Froch slightly in decline.Whether he'd beat the best version well all be able to decide in his future fights.
