How many people did joe avoid?.

Froch would go 46-0? he lost to a past his peak Kessler and the won a close decision against a shot version, Hopkins would school Froch, Benn, Kessler, with eubank only one making it close (due to styles).

He offered Froch the fight Froch ducked it. Kessler was in his absolute peak and Calzaghe beat him well enough not to ******t a rematch. The only person in the Super 6 who was better than the guys on his resume was Ward.

The only fight that was in demand when Calzaghe retired was Pavlick.

Calzaghe beat 10 world champions + a lot of other top guys like Veit. If Calzaghe had fought guys like Taylor he would have recieved little to no credit.

Some wrongly say Calzaghe "ducked" a domestic dust up with Froch. Calzaghe had already had domestic dust ups with two better world champions in Reid and Eubank and beat Woodhall who was a champion as well. The reality is Froch was offered the fight at the only time it was really make-able (ahead of Bika) and he ducked it.

"I'd like to fight Calzaghe, probably next year after a couple of fights for the British title," said Froch.

"That would be an outrageous win because Calzaghe's a good fighter, a very strong fighter, he's been around a few years, and I just feel I've got exactly what you need to beat him." - Carl Froch at 13-0

"Then when Ashira walked out I almost choked on my cocoa. I had to do a double take to make sure it wasn't Baby Jake Matlala.

"I have come to expect Joe to pick on easy targets,"

I believe Calzaghe knows that isn't that hard a job.

WBO rankings at this point stood like:-

    Champ: Joe Calzaghe
    1. Dennis Inkin
    2. Lucian Bute
    3. Carl Froch

Calzaghe never fought any of the three closest ranked fighters.

"Joe says he's looking to make the most money possible from his next fight,........ Given the options open to him, that must mean fighting me. It certainly wouldn't mean someone like Inkin. - Carl Froch.

you need your head seeing to if you think Froch is passing up Joe after calling him out. Joe turns down Froch to fight **** regional fighters whislt Froch continues his climb to world scene.

Noone denies Joe had his talents but no one should deny that Joe was king of talking **** as well.

this has nothing to do with Hopkins, but now you mention it Hopkins resume shits on Joes and its not particularly good itself.
