K. Wlodarczyk vs Stevenson would be rather enthralling, no? Love to all. ''And the grasshopper shall be a burden'', Ecclesiastes xii. 5.
i've seen film of wlodarczyk and he's probably the most boring, overrated fighter out there. he just sucks. i wish we had guys like james toney around that would just knock that piece of garbage out.
To be honest I think Wlod is doing and looking little better than the reality is. He is solid and hard to get out of there and packs a big punch but he often looks little scared in the ring and gets pummeled around by guys like green and palacios. He is scared to throw and has somekind of safemode on all the time. But once he hurts his opponent you can see how his confidence grows up and he lets that beast come out with bad intentions. And Gotta give him credithow he came back against Chakhiev, it was cool.
It is you. Saw him last night. Not impressed. Did not control range well, got hit with the same combo a bunch of times by a slow past it fighter that he had already beaten. Wlod is nothing special.
We know that he's a very tough fighter with heart and well conditioned. But skillwise not so impressive. In his fight against chakiev he showed real heart coming up from the canvas several times and good power to win. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7w4yfU8grpY
he didnt use rib guard to ko chakhkiev its crazy,Wlod got better in ring after his failed suicide attempt
I too saw him live last night. Wlod is a scary man live, or it's just that Frago is really short and chubby. Wlod looked like a beast - body muscle wise. His skill wasn't great. He got hit and played around. I mean come on guys, this was the 3rd time he fought Frago with nothing really to prove. After the fight his coach expressed that Wlod did not stick with the game plan and he fooled around in the ring. When it comes to why Wlod is still a champ, it's really because he packs a really good strong punch when he decides to use it. Also, his chin is unreal. He might get knocked down, but there is no way of knocking this guy down and expecting him not to get up in 10 count. He really doesn't throw that much but it must really bring on the pain because he keeps winning in the later rounds - except for last night, I was upset it ended so early with no brutal KO.
