people who believe this fight will happen must believe in unicorns.

I hope it does happen as I feel it will be competitive but sadly its not. Its going to be one of those could have been fights that people will always argue.

I have to agree with ya there . . . to an extent. What has Arum done since 2009 to try and make this fight? phuck all that's what! However, Floyd holds all the cards when they do sit down and nego.

Floyd is scared of Pac. He always has been. If we believe Floyd and he can do what he wants with his career than why hasn't he shut everyone up and made the fight? He wants everyone to think that he's tried to make it numerous times and it's not his fault. He'll make that argument until he retires, without fighting him. Does he love the money? Hell yes. But you know what else he loves? Being called the greatest, and he knows he loses all of that if pacman beats him. He knows he can't intimidate Manny, he knows Manny has been in as many big PPV fights as he has, and he knows Manny has fought and beat the best in the sport. Floyd likes to have something on his younger less experienced opponents he don't have that with Pac. And it scares the **** out of him.

I'm a Floyd fan and disagree. Last year Canelo said he would fight on Floyd-Guerrero undercard only if Canelo was given a guarantee for a Floyd-Canelo fight in September. Floyd flat out said no. That is chronicled in many articles. The Guerrero fight didn't do as well as expected and within a few weeks the shocker came out Floyd was fighting Canelo in September. If Floyd wanted to fight Canelo in September, he was a fool for not putting Canelo on his Guerrero undercard. Floyd-Guerrero would have drawn 1.25M easy. That had to be SHO stepping in via a performance clause in the contract.

Pac v Mayweather is close. SHO is not in this business to make Floyd rich, they're in it to make money. Arum and Pac are desperate so I see them willing to make concessions. Good for Floyd. Good for fans. Bad for *******s cuz they'll soon find out why Floyd is #1P4P.

    Showtime will make something happen.

Im not sure they have made any money yet. Floyd cannot hold out for fights that simply will not sell anymore.

, and I'm sure that when Showtime and TMT sat down to do business it was on equal footing. There was no big me little you thing going on and they came to the conclusion of fighting Canelo together. Showtime courted Floyd, not the other way around. As for a performance clause, Floyd's performance was flawless.:bbb

You put way too much into Floyd. Floyd is a gnat compared to SHO and its parent. We're talking about a multi billion dollar company and you really think they are equal footing? SHO is not going to pay Floyd 200M unless revenue goals are met. I am sure of that.
