He dislocated his hip and wasn't exactly being outclassed before being caught, that's boxing

    Gutted for Darren

    Really?

He was taking a beating in there. Even if the hip held up he'd of been stopped.

Really nice guy. One of the nicest men in the sport. But yeah. That was one of the worst deference's I've saw. Think he got confident and thought he was the champ and that he could trade because Sturm has had close fights with Macklin and Murray an he feels he's better than them. Shame about his hip. Barker should retire now. He has became champ and made a lot of money.

I sensed he WAS getting outclassed actually. Sturm looked so sharp tonight. And there was nothing wrong with the first knockdown. No hip injury.

Definitely not the worst world title defence ever. There have been many, many worse champions than Barker. He'll be back.

Looked a pretty lame performance. I wonder if the hip went on the first knockdown?

I think Barker was partially hurt in round 1 too!

A clueless defence ... What was the gameplan?

Completely underestimated a 3 time world champion and paid the price.

I agree with you there, I just think the actual performance on the night was awful. I'm shocked actually - expected more from Barker

His gameplan if you can even call that a gameplan was absolutely disgracefully bad tonight. I don't know what he was thinking. The hip has nothing to do with it he was shipping shots before it, think he hurt it getting put down anyway
