    Hope Tapia doesn't have long lasting damage from that. It was brutal. Much rather he got KO'd early than that sustained beatdown.

    I think Kirkland knew Smoger was stepping in but decided to throw one last punch. Like in those sparring videos that were posted. he beats the **** out of his sparring partners and hits them with cheap shots.

    Hope the kid is ok. Fighting on the big stage on HBO might have been too much for him, maybe got caught up in the hype looking to bang it out, not too sure since I haven't seen much of him, maybe that's how he fights.
