Let's give this guy a pass.

 

The only guy that beat him soundly was B Hop. And even Glen admits that. Says alot about Johnsons skills aswell as B Hops greatness as an ATG.

 

perfect example of a hall of famer not for his talent or wins but just his attiitude is good enough to get him in. fought the best was robbed out of fights he should of won and matured to become a very dangerous man.

also he has an ageless style which doesnt rely on natural talent,speed, agility ect
its a solid boxing stylre that has always kept him at the top.

 

ture but glen wasnt the fighter he was now before it. he was the undefeated fighter going against a much more experienced and skillful champion.
he may have stopped him but glen wasnt the one who put tarver into the gates of hell or almost buried clinton woods or decapitated roy jones jr.


defintly a scalp of course for bernard but he wasnt in his fighting prime he matured as a fighter. similar to norris after his brutal ko by jackson became tougher and used his aggresion more sparingly and used his boxing skills when the goign got tough or benns comeback after getting stopped by watson he became a better defencive fighter than before and used tactics and a jab to win fights.

im not saying bernard doesnt deserve the victory or somthing like that :good

Haha, not HOF, very far from it but he's total class, a great guy and an even better fighter. But!

-He never defeated Ottke. Had recieved bad decisions, he could've won yesterday (115-113 for him on my card) but Ottke was better. Watch the fight before you talk about it.

-Tarver is far from 2nd best LHW in the decade. Dariusz Michalczewski is the 2nd best. Tarver's biggest win is a KO over the shot, back-from-heavy RJJ. What happened when Tarver came back from the "fight" with Rocky? Got dominated. That's good of a win his over a shot Jones. Johnson dominated a shot and just-KOd, even worse shape Jones and got a disputed decision vs. Tarver, who's made his name defeating a shot Jones.

-Johnson's best win is the Woods victory, a fighter Jones toyed with like Cotto with Gomez. But I though he pulled off both the 1st and the 3rd fight, bad decision IMO. And another bad decision yesterday from his point of view. Johnson deserved the win, but that's not enough to be HOF. But enough to respect him.

Great job Mr. Johnson, you are total class!

 

Johnson is a brave man and deserves recognition. He's had some terrible luck with decisions over the years. Wonder if things would have been different if he fought under the American or British flag.

 

2nd best LW Darius M? yeah right this bums career was based on beating a bunch of European tomato cans...didn't his career come to an abrupt end when he lost to Julio Gonzalez...hahaha, Tarver, Johnson, B-Hop, Calzaghe, all would beat this bum...and he's very lucky that Jones never took that fight in his prime...it would've been sheer murder
