lara beats floyd mayweather.

Wasn't the case last night. Lara was boxing Trout's head off for the first 8 rounds when Trout was trying to box off the back foot.

 

the junior middleweight champ mayweather, doesnt fight true junior middles.... they are "too big"

 

Floyd fought Oscar and Cotto at 154. So I don't know what Fu(k your talking about.

 

i do love floyd vs lara. prob the best chess match out there.
i think floyd would turn to the aggressor and put a hurtin on him.
some clowns on here mention the shoulder roll nonstop. saying whats floyd gonna do the roll wont work against southies.

WTF of course it does. floyd doesnt use a shoulder roll ass his defense, he changes his defense and offense every minute of every fight. floyd has his way with southpaws, he owns them so thats an advantage to floyd not to lara.

and i see floyd as the stronger fighter once they are in there. no one on here realizes how strong floyd is, he is the stronger fighter every single time and it would ring true here too.

lara can be hurt too, and floyd would down him at least once.. i see it as a good fight where instead of them fighting cautious and defensively they would lay it out and floyds superior speed, movement, and smarts would end up being too much.

floyd woulld eat him in a dogfight if lara kept trying to win after the 4th round. floyd gives his opponents 2 options, accept defeat and go 12 embarrassing rounds or really go for it and be TKO'd. every fight except castillo 1. he was way bigger and stronger at that exact point going against floyd with really only his right arm and he still won. he had to go toe to toe the last couple round and won the 11th to seal the fight.

2nd fight he made jlc resign to defeat due to floyd having his left and floyd was stronger in the 2nd fight. but the first fight, certain people wish he got robbed in that fight but he won it clearly.

i been asking for years for ANY1 to give me 5 rounds jlc won, just 5 and i'll accept a loss. but no one can

It is true. Anybody close to Mayweather's weight wins a fight, he can beat Mayweather. Canelo was suppose to be the best at JMW and lost. Now the best is Lara? Mayweather just keeps winning whether it be at 147 or 154. I believe even Lara stated he has to earn a fight with Mayweather. Meaning he is possibly not ready for him and all the promotion. When will people get tired of bashing Mayweather. I can see it now if Mayweather were to lose to someone. " I told you he was going to lose". So many styles have been thrown at Mayweather and to be honest, I think a lucky punch is what is needed like what Mosely caught him with. Everybody loses, even the greats. He has I believe four fights left and then he is gone. Let's enjoy it and I could care less if he fights Khan. Keep busy fight since he use to fight once a year. The TS stated he thinks Lara can beat Mayweather. Thinking is not knowing.

I no plenty about boxing sir. Been boxing for 12 yes now, my oldest son for 8, my youngest for 5 years Under Coach Jacobs(Sugar Ray) and Coach Russell St(Gary Russel Jr). I no enough.. The fact that he's Cuban isn't my point. the point I'm making is every time someone impresses you for the night or the moment,, Mayweathers name is brought up. Stop reaching. If u keep naming names I guess you will eventually get it right.

 

Alvarez La Cruz rigo and lots of others are far more talented than mayweather!

 

Lara has great footwork but Floyd's is better.
Power is about even, maybe slightly in favor of Lara.
Timing is Floyd.
Reach is Lara.
Boxing brain is Floyd.
Speed is Floyd by country mile.


Floyd beats Lara and makes it look easier than what we will think, but I agree with the sentiment that Lara has the best chance of anyone 147-154.

Both highly skilled fighters. Very technical. To look at this performance and say that Lara beats Mayweather because he beat trout is asinine. Mayweather is light years better than Trout. I saw nothing in that fight to ascertain a Lara victory. Im not sure Lara beats Canelo. This fight would not sell though, and for that reason, it would never happen.

Lara beat Trout better than Canelo. Officially, the Trout vs Canelo fight was close, but to me Canelo beat him easier than the scorecards suggested. Trout didn't commit against Canelo, and he didn't commit against Lara. But there is one detail that hasn't been brought up, Trout was undefeated when he faced Canelo.

IMO, Floyd beats Lara rather easy, while Lara struggles with Canelo.
