    HAHAHA..ya right..ward dont want any of them...maybe pascal but other than that he will duck..and then make excuses..

    if ward dont want to travel he can stay home and fight bums and prospects and be the oakland joke..

    People here don't know what the **** they're talking about because they don't know what part of his contract he's talking about

    If I remember correctly he was angry not over fights, but over having his manager present on choosing opponents with Goosen and a split.

    The 'money' that Ward draws in has to be split among his trainers, managers, S&C...this dude is earning 750k a fight

    You don't know what you are talking about. That dispute has been settled and Goosen won. Court ruled in his favor.

    Ward is now trying to weasel out by saying he is tied to a contract that exceed 7 years, that a California labor law prohibit workers signing a contract that exceed 7 years. However if this contract is like other boxing contract in that it isn't about years but about numbers of fight you have to fight for the promotion. Failing to do so, like Ward has with long layoff, would extend the contract. This is like deliverable goods. Hypothetical, Ward signed with Goossen to deliver 14 fights in 7 years but only had 9. Goossen is still owed the deliverable good, 5 fights, from Ward.

    Inactivity is what has caused this and Ward only had himself to blame


    Contracts in boxing are based on number of fighters not within time frames.

    The more inactive the longer he is tied down.

    He has already tried to sue, and lost, what else is there? In all honesty Goosen hasn't been that bad to him.
